SUP's, alaia's, tow boards, this blokes does 'em all, at the same time!
Awesome! Love the way he pops off the SUP, and lets it ghost to the beach.
more enviro friendly than a ski I suppose
still, he looks like a fucking idiot
Once you get through the intro crap (just jump to 1 min mark), Chris White takes the switch of craft to a new level. PS Stu, I think you'll like the soundtack given it's from your era..:)
Look, it is a bloody shambles. HOWEVER, they are nice shacks.
Dead set ripper.
hahaha funny as, piece of plywood and straps..??????
Surfed HTs with him a couple of months back at 6' and absolutely smoking. Impressive stuff. He was actually on a snurfer (?) . One of the original snowboards with a swallow tail and straps. Getting paddled in by a friendly Brazilian fella on a SUP. He was getting absolutely pitted and doing massive layback snaps on the end section. Pretty much just paddling around the crowd and taking the best waves that came through though which wasn't so amazing.
He was making " Surfing is Life 3" a homemade surf movie. You can check out his previous 2 movies on YouTube. He was also catching waves on his SUP tandem with his young son who looked like he was digging it although if he did it in Australia DOCs would have been waiting on the beach.
Nice guy, rode a lid mostly.
More credit should go to his mate that was paddling him in and nearly going over the falls at a decent sized shallow reef . His only reward for near destruction and blowing a perfect session being the gimp propulsion unit is a brief mention in the credits of a little known movie.... Fuck that.
