Dawn report: Winds were offshore through the evening, then swung fresh SE in the early hours of the morning before reverting light offshore again. But it now looks like the onshore is kicking back in again with these passing showers, and there are whitecaps showing out to sea. The south swell is strong with 4-5ft+ sets at exposed beaches though it's a little inconsistent. If you're gonna surf, make it sooner rather than later. Tune into the updated photo report after 8am.
