The south swell seems to be edging a little bigger but the full tide isn't helping matters much right now. Sets are 3-4ft at south facing beaches, but much smaller everywhere else thanks to the swell direction. You'll pick up good waves at most open beaches under a light breeze but the best surf will happen once the tide heads out mid-late morning.

2019-09-15 05:33:00: peaky 3-4ft S, Light WSW, partly cloudy 4/10

Dawn Report: A bit average this morning, but there are waves on offer if you're keen for a paddle. We've got peaky options at south facing beaches with a new S'ly swell, and although it's a little lumpy on the face from yesterday afternoon's S'ly changem winds are now W/SW so the faces are cleaning up. South swell magnes have 3-4ft sets, and a little more size is possible into the afternoon, but anywhere not exposed to the south is quite a lot smaller. Tune in to the updated photo report around 8am.
