We’ll see some nice strong S pulses over the weekend as multiple fetches operate on an active sea state. Nothing huge but of winter calibre.
The coming period remains good to great for the Surf Coast, with more energy due later next week.
Large swells from later next week, not as big as they appear (at this stage).
This Sunday we see a window of lighter winds after the arrival of a groundswell, while frontal activity is picking up in strength and will send strong pulses for next week.
The coming couple of days have been upgraded slightly with tricky swell producers moving through.
We’re in a typical winter style pattern with the high pressure belt up over the continent and any SE winds are now confined to the tropics.
Compared to Mondays notes the outlook for S swell is improved, mostly due to a better aligned following front which conjoins the initial front and forms a slower moving low in the southern Tasman.
The South Coast will be the pick of the period, with the Mid offering lots of size but onshore winds.
