Central QLD Forecaster Notes by Steve Shearer (updated on Fri 11th July)

This weeknd and next week (July9-July18)

Central QLD: Winter flat spell in progress, no end in sight (continued)

We’re in a typical winter style pattern with the high pressure belt up over the continent and any SE winds are now confined to the tropics.

High pressure belt in winter position= tiny/flat for CQ

Thus tiny/flat surf through this week and next.

Check back Fri and we’ll see if we can see the end of it.

Fri Update: No change to the outlook- flat right through next week.

Check back Mon for the latest.
