TC Alfred is maintaining intensity as a low end Cat 2 cyclone, as it moves slowly towards SEQLD at a walking pace. Gales to storm force winds are located across the SE and SW quadrants.
Depending on the movement of Ex TC Alfred we’re highly likely at this stage to see an increased NE-E/NE flow along the NSW Coast early next week as the remnants of the system drift down the Northern Tablelands.
More persistent winds out of the north-eastern quadrant should favour the South Coast this period.
The exposed beaches will be the pick over the coming period with plenty of days to choose from.
