One could say we were destined in our nature to develop the cognitive ability to industrialise, which in turn created new diseases and allowed them to spread quicker. Luckily, due to our natural, ever developing intelligence, we create effective ways to train our immune systems further to significantly reduce death and suffering.
So, whilst the human race is evolving on it's own natural path, there's the Burleighs and now the Sypkans among us who've let their irrational, imaginary fears get the better of them, now they want to regress to the days of needless death and suffering (i.e. before tetanus vaccines).
