Shocking, wait till NRL/AFL season starts.

They’ve been training for a couple of months now robo. Pre season too, lots of hard running

Still not like playing a game though

Exactly, they are running like fuck to try and get match fit.
If you’re going to see heart problems from over exertion you would think it would be now

Edit… you changed your reply from still not match fit to not like playing a game?
Come on mate you’re clutching at straws

Match fit is the same as playing a game lol, nice try though

Righto robo, fuck it’s like talking to a brick.

So by your logic when they are “match fit”, because you said they’re not yet, there will be a higher chance of a reaction.
I’ll take ya word for it. You may be correct

Geez, if you know anything about football you get match fit by playing games, just training is not the same high tensity, get it now, although they do replicate games these days but still not the same, i just changed the wording.

Australia is just under 78% fully vaccinated dopey. Try using a calculator next time.

Ok here's a Saturday night tin foil hat special for youse.
Way back at the start of Omicron, when it was still in Africa, a mate of mine mentioned to me that Omicron was the exact same symptoms as the side effects to the vaccine.
Thoughts on Omicron actually being vaccine side effects??
Not saying i'm yay or nay. Just putting up every possibility for debate for the great SN boffins.

Even at 78% fully vaxxed, the unvaxxed are still over-represented in the death stats Burleigh quoted your absolute morons.
And most of the 22% that aren't fully vaxxed are children and unlikely to die.

BTW. These stats are really not much of a surprise you would imagine 90% plus people in high risk groups would be fully vaxed and even when fully vaxed are still at a much higher chance of death than anyone else, often not just old, but obese and with other health issues, they are basically sitting on a cliff edge many things can push them over that edge very easily.

Plus you could imagine many older people would be double jabbed 6 months ago or longer and think they are still all good, but in reality aren't very protected anymore unless get a booster.

Interesting you should say that VL. I had a friend try to tell me yesterday how 4 people who were unvaccinated had died the day before, hence it's the unvaccinated dying. I actually mentioned to her the next day it was 6 vaccinated who died, to which she replied, 'oh'. I guess you can only relate to some on their level eh??

"Remdesivir being still recommended as a valid treatment is highly questionable:"
The current justification for disagreeing with WHO:
"The Taskforce highlights the differential effect of remdesivir on mortality within these subgroups (i.e. absolute effect estimate of 25 fewer deaths per 1000 in hospitalised patients who do not require ventilation, and absolute effect estimate of 50 more deaths per 1000 in hospitalised patients who require ventilation (invasive or non-invasive mechanical ventilation or ECMO))"

The point being that WHO did not distinguish between the two groups. I think it best to leave that one to the statisticians!

Hey Roady, what do you reckon? Do you think there is an increase in incidents of heart issues of elite sports people (especially in high cardio sports) since the high vaccination rate? Personally, i'm hearing more of these kind of incidents than i would have in the past, but interested in other perspectives.
@roaddill wrote: bd, does a person have a higher chance of myocarditis from a vaccination or from getting covid?
Note: Changes conversation immediately away from elite sports people, which was the only question being asked.
then etc etc, dealing with toddlers..

You're actually dumber than i give you credit for Roadkill. I ask you a question, you reply with a question, then ask me 'why don't you answer for once'. Fuck off you turd. You're a deadset wanker. (btw would prefer not to engage in this way but some people...you know..??)

@roadkill wrote: Ok, bd, I will answer your question, If I do that, will you answer my question? Seems fair, don’t you think? (Um..?)

@me wrote: Lets be honest Roadkill. You're just here to antagonise 'antivaxers'. You don't engage in conversation, you don't present any particular facts or figures or understand what a debate is. To engage any further with you would be the equivalent of doing a shit in my hand and eating it. Something i'd prefer not to do, although it'd probably be a better experience. Adios fuckstick.

@roaddill continues to antagonise and try to seek answers to a question that had no relevance to the original question.

It's amazing how easily some swallow the bullshit (shit). Would hate to be one of them. It wouldn't be a hard stretch to say Roaddill is the dumbest cunt ever on SN.
Would love to be proven wrong. I've had some creepy stalker ex girlfriends. Starting to wonder if Road dill is one of them.

2 days ago bd was crying and posting away because of language used. Bd, uses same language. You spent a whole day being offended and whinging over it.

bd, crys because his question wasn’t answered, now bd, won’t answer question. As you do daily to most people that don’t accept your garbage.

You demand so much..and do what you criticise everyone else for.

You’re not dumber than I thought…how dumb you are was never in doubt, as it is on show here everyday.

Toadkill seems to be bleeding from his Vagina this morning.

This has been a good week for transparency—and a bad week for Dr. Anthony Fauci.

Some good data here: https://ourworldindata.org/covid-deaths-by-vaccination

USA specific here: https://ourworldindata.org/grapher/united-states-rates-of-covid-19-death...

Since the US have access to more vaccines it's interesting (I think).

We have to go through this pretty much every week. So many slow learners here. From the first link.

"Why we need to compare the rates of death between vaccinated and unvaccinated
During a pandemic, you might see headlines like “Half of those who died from the virus were vaccinated”.
It would be wrong to draw any conclusions about whether the vaccines are protecting people from the virus based on this headline. The headline is not providing enough information to draw any conclusions.
Let’s think through an example to see this.
Imagine we live in a place with a population of 60 people.

Then we learn that 10 people died. And we learn that 50% of them were vaccinated.

The newspaper may run the headline “Half of those who died from the virus were vaccinated”. But this headline does not tell us anything about whether the vaccine is protecting people or not.
To be able to say anything, we also need to know about those who did not die: how many people in this population were vaccinated? And how many were not vaccinated?

Now we have all the information we need and can calculate the death rates:
of 10 unvaccinated people, 5 died → the death rate among the unvaccinated is 50%
of 50 vaccinated people, 5 died → the death rate among the vaccinated is 10%
We therefore see that the death rate among the vaccinated is 5-times lower than among the unvaccinated.
In the example, we invented numbers to make it simple to calculate the death rates. But the same logic applies also in the current COVID-19 pandemic. Comparisons of the absolute numbers, as some headlines do, is making a mistake that’s known in statistics as a ‘base rate fallacy’: it ignores the fact that one group is much larger than the other. It is important to avoid this mistake, especially now, as in more and more countries the number of people who are vaccinated against COVID-19 is much larger than the number of people who are unvaccinated."

Slow learners and some that just will not accept facts. Even when clearly posted and beyond dispute, facts are disputed and ignored.

The rabbit hole is deep and full of stupid people.
