GFS adds to that recipe for a round of (sizey) trade swell with a deepening trough in the Coral Sea which spawns a surface low mid week, currently modelled to track southwards into the Tasman.
Failing that we may see some small NE windswell next week from the high as it sets up a NE flow in the Tasmanian swell window.

Today's inconsistent W/SW groundswell will fade over the weekend with another westerly swell due Tuesday but with more reliable size and consistency compared to today's.
Strong swell for later today and tomorrow, with plenty of energy for next week and beyond.
The surf will be great tomorrow and Friday morning before fading into the weekend.
The swell direction will tweak more S/SE with some quality pulses due from tomorrow through the weekend, though winds are a little dicey.
