Friday’s new swell is much different, however the bulk of its energy will only favour the South Coast.
Points and back beaches are in for a fun, workable weekend of surf in the 2-3ft range. Mornings will be the go preceding afternoon seabreezes.
No major change to the forecast notes issued Monday. The swell period charts are still showing two swell fronts for the coming days; one through this afternoon and another early Friday.
Southerly energy for the rest of the week with pulses to around 2-3ft. Generally offshore early tending northeasterly each day.

Although poorly aligned, a pair of strong frontal progressions will move across the Tasman late in the week generating side band energy for northern NSW and southeast QLD.
The forecast for this week is still pretty complex even though there are no major weather systems expected to develop within our primary swell windows.
Over the coming days, the surf will gradually fade across all coasts.
