Good options across the Surf Coast beaches and locations east of Melbourne tomorrow, clean everywhere Sunday. Plenty of swell due from Tuesday next week but with poor onshore winds.
Lay day tomorrow then new inconsistent but strong SW swell building Saturday, peaking Sunday with a larger S'ly swell for Tuesday. All with persistent S/SE winds, lighter through Wednesday.
Fun S/SW swell for tomorrow morning, easing into the afternoon and Saturday with a very inconsistent but strong SW swell arriving late, peaking through the day Sunday. Large and powerful S/SW swell for Tuesday, easing slowly through the rest of the week.
Thursday’s surf potential looks pretty grim at this stage.
Sunday is still looking good with a high pressure ridge providing light offshore winds and a solid swell peaking in the 10-12ft range. Early next week will also see a follow up swell with favourable winds.
Peak in S'ly groundswell tomorrow morning with offshores, easing into the afternoon and further Friday. Tiny weekend, with a small N/NE windswell Monday and then E'ly groundswell from Tuesday.
Whilst the local fetch won’t generate much new swell for the coast, we still have plenty of energy on tap for the short term forecast period.
