Easing surf ahead of a large and powerful NW veering N/NW groundswell building late Saturday, peaking early Sunday. Secondary large NW groundswell arriving late in the first day of the Pipe Masters waiting period.
The predominant swell direction over the coming days will favour the open beaches, providing a peak in size on the weekend. Winds should be light/variable most mornings, with the exception of Saturday which is expected to be under a southerly airflow. Saturday will also see the peak in swell, so hit up a protected southern corner.
Small W/SW pulse for tomorrow, fading Friday and into the weekend. Small new S/SW swell for Tuesday.

Southerly energy is likely to fade throughout Thursday form the 3-4ft range, although the quality of the surf won't be anything to get excited about. For the remainder of the forecast period, easterly trade-swell will be the dominant source of energy. Morning's variable/offshore breezes hold the best opportunity for a wave.
Small tomorrow, with a late increase in new SW swell, peaking Friday with early light S'ly winds. Poor weekend with a good long-range swell for next Tuesday with hopefully variable winds.
Fun clean Mid tomorrow morning, workable but peaky South Coast, clean into Friday and the weekend with smaller surf best suited to exposed coasts.
Reinforcing W/SW swell with morning offshores for the Surf Coast tomorrow, easing from Friday with better winds for the Mornington Peninsula. Small average weekend, poorer into next week.
Easing surf ahead of a moderate to large N/NW swell Wednesday, easing into the end of the week. Large, powerful NW tending N/NW groundswell for the weekend with weaker E/NE trades.
