All in all, this is a very good swell and wind pattern for December in SE Qld.
Tricky W/SW swell pulses over the coming days, probably the most reliable filling in Thursday morning.
New mix of swells tomorrow with offshore winds, easing Wednesday with better winds. Poor conditons for the remainder of the period with no significant swells until maybe next week.
Open beaches have a good looking little NE swell on the cards for Tuesday morning, fading thereafter. The effects of a long range, but inconsistent E/NE swell should then come into play from the end of the week, and across the weekend. Winds aren't looking too promising for the weekend at this stage.
The swell direction for the coming week will be out of the E/NE so open beaches will be the pick for the most size. Seabreezes are likely each afternoon, so hit it early for the best conditions. Keep in mind, the source of this swell is quite long range, so consistency is likely to be lacking.
Building W/SW swell tomorrow, peaking Wednesday morning, while tending SW in direction down South. Best winds for the Mid Wednesday, with improving conditions down South Thursday and Friday mornings.
Compared to last week, this coming week isn't too interesting with weaker swells and smaller windows of favourable winds.
As for the late-next-week-thru’-weekend peak in easterly groundswell: early indications are that we’ve got a great run of solid surf on target for the points.
We are in for a slow week ahead, with only small options at exposed location. A NE windswell is on the cards for Tuesday at open beaches, but the wind pattern could go either way.
Clean easing W/SW swell tomorrow, tiny Sunday. Small flukey pulses of swell for Tuesday and Wednesday, slightly better Thursday.
