A northeast windswell is due to build throughout the rest of this week, peaking on Sunday in the 3ft+ range. However, winds are looking dicey, so hit it early for the best conditions. A southerly change is due to provide the exposed beaches with a bit of size on Monday, limited by winds. Tuesday and Wednesday should then see the most significant south swell, possibly 3-5ft.
Major revisions are required for the impending easterly swell this week, which is a bummer.
Clean but only doable at swell magnets down South tomorrow, fun tiny swell for the Mid Friday through Sunday, cleanest tomorrow and Saturday. Clean easing South Coast Saturday, with a great Mid swell Monday with offshores.
Offshore winds tomorrow morning with a slight kick in new swell, bigger through Friday but with only a short-lived variable breeze at dawn. Easing surf Saturday and Sunday with favourable winds each morning.
Mix of mid and long-period NW groundswell building tomorrow, peaking Wednesday and then easing Thursday with strengthening E/NE trades. Nothing significant until later next week.
In short: small beach breaks Tuesday and Wednesday, with building E’ly swells Thursday reaching a peak Friday - but with generally moderate to fresh E/SE winds.
Early stages of this week will start out tiny, slowly building off a northeasterly swell, peaking on the weekend under northwesterly breezes. Keep an eye on it.
No significant swells to speak of with tiny clean waves generally for beginners every day besides Wednesday.
