Easing clean swell early tomorrow morning ahead of a late morning onshore change. Building swell Sunday afternoon, better Monday morning with favourable winds for the Surf Coast. Plenty of swell through the rest of the week but onshore.
The weekend ahead is looking fairly quiet, however the days following look to be quite the contrary. We should see a long range E/NE groundswell fill in on Tuesday, with multple S'ly swells building on Wednesday and Thursday across south facing beaches.
These tropical developments discussed on Monday are throwing many a curveball.
Fading surf tomorrow with a new W/SW swell Friday, easing into Saturday. Good new SW swell Sunday with varying winds, cleaner Monday.
Drop in SW swell tomorrow ahead of some new SW swell Friday with less than ideal winds. Better SW swell Sunday morning with offshores, persisting through early next week.
Not a whole lot to work with until Tuesday when an E/NE groundswell is due to fill in across open beaches. A strong front/cut-off low should favour protected southern corners, while exposed south swell magnets pick up building low quality windswell.
Open beaches look to be the focus over the coming week with small ebbs and pulses of easterly energy preceding a healthy long-range E/NE groundswell off a deepening tropical low. Longer term, we hope to see solid southelry groundswell of a front and cut-off low.
