Gales to severe gales from the S through SE will generate another large peak in size later today and through tomorrow from the secondary low slingshotting around the primary centre, focused on Southern/Central NSW with a much smaller payload being delivered north of the Hunter.
Make the most of the offshore winds and smaller surf over the coming days ahead of a large, stormy run of surf next week.
A vigorous coastal low is now moving N, with a secondary low centre rotating around the primary low before forming a dual-centred system, which then slowly moves away from the NSW coast later tomorrow and through Fri.
Tomorrow will remain average, much better into Friday and the weekend with some fun swell and favourable winds. Longer term is active.
Active for both regions from mid-late next week.
Winds in the Coral Sea feeding into the Coral Sea trough generate some fun waves for CQ. Those waves should continue into Tues before easing Wed as the trough/low dips southwards.
A few fun mornings for the metro regions while Margs should make the most out of one day this week.
Winds on the south-east to north-east flanks of the low will be gale force E to E/NE infeeds, extending out into the Tasman and Southern Coral Sea, aimed at Central/Southern NSW and down to Tasmania.
The coming week looks decent with plenty of swell and nice winds besides Wednesday.
