Average winds and mix of swells tomorrow, cleaner Wednesday morning with a mix of Ely, NE and S'ly swells, fading into the end of the week.

Easterly trade swell will be the primary source of surf this weekend, fading early next week. The morning sessions are looking good before a gusty seabreeze kicks in. Enjoy.

Southerly energy is likely to fade throughout Thursday form the 3-4ft range, although the quality of the surf won't be anything to get excited about. For the remainder of the forecast period, easterly trade-swell will be the dominant source of energy. Morning's variable/offshore breezes hold the best opportunity for a wave.

The swell direction for the coming week will be out of the E/NE so open beaches will be the pick for the most size. Seabreezes are likely each afternoon, so hit it early for the best conditions. Keep in mind, the source of this swell is quite long range, so consistency is likely to be lacking.

Hope you got some waves over the past few days, because the forecast isn't anything amazing. We are hoping for good trade swell next week if everything goes to plan, but winds may be an issue.

Make the most of Thursday as conditions will fade and quality will become variable over the weekend and next week.

We can thank a strong node of the long wave trough for this southerly energy this morning. By the looks of the forecast, there is plenty more to come.

We are finally expecting more size over the weekend, although winds aren't looking to cooperate. Next week holds much better prospects with fresh southerly groundswell on the cards under light winds each morning for most of the week.

The prospects of surf are pretty underwhelming for the remainder of this week, however better indications are on the cards for the weekend and next week. Monday should see S'ly groundswell build to the 3-4ft mark, with a second pulse on Tuesday.

The next few mornings are looking good to score a few small waves at open beaches, with Wednesday being the pick of the bunch with a fresh S'ly groundswell and offshore breezes potentially holding into the afternoon. The weekend has the potential to be big with embedded lows moving to the south, however confidence remains dicey.
