The good pulses of S/SW groundswell seen the last few days should start to back off today and should continue to ease into the weekend. A slight kick in long-range S/SW swell is due later Saturday and Sunday morning but to no major size.

A fun pulse of S'ly groundswell filled in yesterday morning but faded into the afternoon under N'ly winds. Today a NE windswell took the place of the S'ly swell with morning offshores that have since shifted onshore.

Yesterday saw fun clean waves with an easing swell from Monday in the 2ft range, while today the surf really bottomed out with tiny surf seen across Clifton.

A slow drop in size continued across the state through yesterday with favourable offshore winds for exposed locations. Today the surf has bottomed out around Perth and Mandurah, but a small increase in S/SW groundswell has kept inconsistent 3ft sets hitting the South West.

The surf was great down South yesterday morning with a solid secondary pulse of S/SW groundswell to 3-4ft with smooth glassy conditions under light variable winds. Onshore winds started to creep in later in the morning and strengthened into the afternoon, creating poor conditions.
