Best days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday morning

A fun pulse of acute S'ly groundswell is due to fill in tomorrow and peak during the afternoon to 3-4ft at exposed spots generated by a small polar low firing up late in our swell window over the weekend.
Eastern Tasmania Forecast by Craig Brokensha (issued Monday 24th February)
Best Days: Tuesday and Friday morning at south swell magnets
Recap
The weekend saw various pulses of S'ly groundswell owing to a strong mid-latitude low moving offshore followed by a follow up polar front moving through our swell window. Winds were generally favourable for locations picking up the most size and offshore.
Today we fell in between pulses and winds were average and from the S'th.
South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales Surf Forecast by Ben Matson (issued Monday 24th February)
Best Days: Entire period - fun waves at the open points across the North Coast and SE Qld region.
Recap: The weekend’s building trade swell didn’t perform quite as well as was hoped. After a slow start on Saturday morning we saw an increase throughout the day that persisted through Sunday and this morning, with wave heights generally holding in around 2-3ft (a foot or so below forecast expectations).
Western Australia Surf Forecast by Craig Brokensha (issued Friday 21st January)
Best Days: Thursday morning at exposed spots, Saturday morning
Recap
Saturday started off slow and clean ahead of a new SW groundswell arriving into the afternoon. Winds tended variable into the early afternoon opening up a window of fun waves at exposed spots, but it was Sunday that offered the best waves with a peak in groundswell and morning offshores.
Sydney, Hunter and Illawarra Surf Forecast Surf Forecast by Ben Matson (issued Monday 24th February)
Best Days: Tues: fun south swell with light winds tending NE. Wed: smaller but still fun at south swell magnets before the NE wind.
Recap: Plenty of southerly swell over the weekend but light to moderate onshores for much of Saturday turned fresh and gusty Sunday morning (before easing into the afternoon). Wave heights peaked in the 3-4ft range at exposed beaches but on the whole it wasn’t really memorable.
