Best Days: Sun: afternoon session on the Northern NSW points. Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs/Fri: great week of persistent SE swell and S'ly winds, ideal for the points in most regions (although a little undersized in SE Qld compared to Northern NSW). Late Easter Friday/Saturday: solid, long period E'ly groundswell with good winds.

A moderate mix of new W/NW swell and long-range SW groundswell peaked in the 3-5ft range across the South West yesterday, with 1-2ft waves in Perth, while Gero started off slow and in the 2ft range, but an increase to 2-3ft was seen during the afternoon.

The surf wasn't as good as the start of the week yesterday, but light variable S'ly winds created fun lumpy waves across exposed spots with a small swell.
Today a deepening surface trough has moved in from the east and this has brought with it strong onshore winds and a junky windswell across the South Coast, with tiny bumpy waves on the Mid.

The Mornington Peninsula provided the best waves yesterday with a small but fun swell to 2-3ft with all day offshores. The Surf Coast was tiny but ideal for beginners on the beaches.
Today a deepening surface trough is moving across the region, bringing strengthening onshore winds and a building S'ly windswell and no real options for a quality wave.

Small levels of background groundswell will persist through tomorrow but into Saturday a new long-range S/SW groundswell is due to fill and reach 3-4ft later in the day and offer slightly larger 5ft bombs into Sunday afternoon.
