A new E’ly swell is expected to fill into the region throughout Saturday. There may be a slight lag at dawn (read: small leftover surf) but otherwise we should see an upwards trend all morning ahead of a peak in the afternoon.
The current S/SE swell will ease through this afternoon, overnight and into Saturday. But as we’ve been anticipating all week we have a new E’ly swell due to arrive overnight that’ll provide great waves across the weekend.
Small swell pulses with favourable winds each morning, better SW groundswell for Wednesday with hopefully offshores.
Persistent and sometimes strong SE-SSE winds across the region with no decent groundswells for the Mid Coast.
Onshore winds and building levels of SE windswell through the weekend, persisting next week with E/SE winds. Possible windows of cleaner conditions next week, more on this Monday.
Large NW and N/NW groundswell pulses from Thursday through Sunday with a monster XXL NW groundswell for Monday.
Looks like a very active weekend ahead of all East Coast surfers. In fact the next week and half should produce an extended period of excellent waves for many locations.
