We’re still on track for a very large E’ly pulse.
We’re still on track for a very large E’ly pulse.
Slowly building E/NE groundswell tomorrow, peaking Sunday morning with offshore winds ahead of a S'ly change. Swell easing Monday with onshore winds, followed by some fun NE windswell Wednesday morning.
A solid E/NE groundswell is currently building across the coast and is due to peak in the 6-8ft range on Saturday afternoon, with sets potentially moving into the 10ft range at exposed reefs and bombies. Sunday should continue to see large swell, fading throuhgout the day.
Clean fun waves tomorrow morning, tiny Sunday morning ahead of a late increase in new swell but with an onshore change. Cleaner and easing Monday with nothing major for the rest of the week.
Easing small S/SW swell with average winds developing tomorrow morning, small Sunday and Monday. Late increase in new SW groundswell Tuesday, peaking Wednesday morning with favourable winds.
Easing SW swell tomorrow and further Sunday with light onshore and possibly variable winds through the morning. New S/SW swell for Monday with E/NE winds, cleaner but small and easing Tuesday.
Slowly easing swell all weekend with offshore winds for the Surf Coast each morning. New swell for Monday but onshore, cleaner and easing Tuesday, best to the east.
Windy XXL swell for tomorrow, cleaner and easing Friday and Saturday, new large N/NW groundswell for Sunday morning with a bigger episode Tuesday/Wednesday but with poor winds. XXL swell likely to end the week.
This will certainly be one of the biggest easterly groundswells in many years.
We are still looking at open beaches building to a solid 4-6ft by Sunday with offshore breezes holding until at least early afternoon each day of the weekend. A good few days ahead, although inconsistent at times.
