Model data for the Friday/Saturday time period has been a little divergent over the last few days but they’re now starting to hone in on a nice window of waves to kickstart the weekend.
Strengthening NE winds this afternoon and overnight should generate a short range NE windswell for exposed beaches on Tuesday.
So, the south swell is on the way.
Thursday looks pretty fun all round, and on Friday we’ve got another decent day of waves lining up.
All in all a really good weekend for south facing beaches that like northerly winds.
We’ve got an average weekend of waves ahead.
Local winds will be the key to success tomorrow.
The current S/SE swell will ease steadily from Tuesday onwards, and early light winds will swing NE during the days so you’ll need to capitalise on the early session.
We’ve got plenty of south swell expected this weekend.
Southerly swell will dominate the entire forecast period.
