A local here in my complex is 63 or 64 and on leave from work, compo really getting paid $2500 a week to sit on his arse playing fall cry 6 all day drinking piss while the docs and surgeons work out what they can do to get him back working on diggers again on mine sites.
He has no plans of returning but swears to me we wont be going back over seas anytime in our future mine yours or his. Covid is just too strong and will continue to evolve into deadlier forms, and the jabs will be useless.

I am not panicked at all. I am happy for the country to open up and have interstate travel etc etc. Now we have high levels of vaccination in tge community we need to get things going again.
However, wearing a mask is pretty simple as is basic hand hygiene and respecting distances and staying home if you have any cold or flu symptoms.

Yes , let it rip and hopefully if omicron is less severe and it takes over from delta then those that are unvaccinated for whatever reason can hopefully all be ok with minor symptoms. If things keep going like they are. , there’s going to be alot of people forced into home quarantine over xmas . Those people who flew to Queensland would be pissed off . I just had to shut the doors and remove 4 pax from the premises due to a locum being a casual contact 2 days ago whilst he was working in Byron. We all did Antigen tests this morning...all negative so we are back to normal.
