A small pulse of S'ly swell seen later Monday across south facing beaches held into Tuesday morning to an inconsistent 2ft with clean, glassy conditions. The swell eased into the afternoon as NE sea breezes kicked up.

Saturday offered the best waves over the weekend with an easing SW groundswell and hot offshore winds. The swell became tiny into Sunday around Perth, while a light onshore created less than ideal conditions up at Gero leaving Margs with the best waves.

The weekend started off tiny with 1ft of W/SW swell and light W'ly wind. A new SW swell started to build Sunday as a mid-latitude low pushed across us, building from 1-2ft during the morning and peaking during the late afternoon but with poor onshore winds.
The swell has dropped back to a smaller but much cleaner 2ft this morning with a light offshore wind.

The South Coast saw poor conditions with onshore winds and a moderate amount of swell, while the Mid Coast offered good waves Saturday afternoon as a new W/SW groundswell pulsed to 1-2ft on the incoming tide.

A moderate increase in W/SW swell due over the weekend looked to have come in under expectations but conditions were poor in any case with onshore winds all weekend.
Today a better pulse of SW groundswell has come in with good 3ft waves around Torquay, 3-5ft sets at 13th Beach and 6ft waves on the Mornington Peninsula under a light variable wind.
