Best Days: Saturday morning protected spots, early Sunday, Tuesday morning, Wednesday morning, Thursday and Friday mornings
Recap
Exposed breaks across the state faired best yesterday with stiff offshore winds and a fun sized swell across Margs and Gero. An increase in size was seen through the day ahead of a peak today but conditions were poor with onshore S/SW winds.
This weekend (Dec 13 - 14)
The surf’s looking really good for Sunday. But before we get there, we’ve got to endure a bumpy, leftover mess on Saturday.
New SW swell and offshore winds tomorrow ahead of a mid-afternoon change. Swell easing into Sunday and Monday with light onshore winds each morning. Good W/SW swell Tuesday and Wednesday with improving winds.
Good new SW groundswell for tomorrow with offshore winds, best mid-late morning. Easing swell with a period of favourable winds early Sunday.
Large easing NW groundswell tomorrow and further Friday as winds improve. New large long-period NW tending N/NW groundswell building rapidly Saturday afternoon, easing Sunday.
We’ve got a developing low off the southern NSW coast on Thursday that’ll dictate our surf, wind and weather for the following couple of days.
