Saturday morning the best of the weekend down South. Good waves Wednesday afternoon on the Mid and Thursday across both coasts.
Saturday morning will be the best of the weekend east of Melbourne and at exposed breaks across the state, with Thursday morning on the Surf Coast the pick of next week.
Good waves with light winds for the entire period, with Sunday seeing a slightly more distinguishable south-easterly breeze.
Lots of swell with weaker trades through Sunday and Monday.
A small short range southerly swell may materialise at south facing beaches in Northern NSW on Friday in the wake of this system, but we’re not going to see much more than a foot or two tops. And SE Qld won’t see much, if anything from this source - possible a tiny level of residual trade swell in the water but that’s about it.
Tomorrow afternoon and Friday morning the best through the end of the week, with good waves through Monday and more so Tuesday.
Tomorrow afternoon will be the largest of the period as winds swing NE. Smaller waves for the rest of the outlook but with good winds.
No major changes for the rest of the week. Small residual swells are expected on Thursday with early offshore winds expected to swing moderate southerly in association with a shallow change. There won’t be any major swell increase from this system - just a possible small afternoon bump in windswell at best.
