A mix of E/NE and smaller SE swell continued to 3ft+ across the coast yesterday morning as winds from the southern quadrant favoured protected southern corners. Today the NE swell was smaller again and with light to moderate NE winds, limiting surfing options.
We've got a tricky finish to the week.
Onshore and tiny tomorrow, clean Friday morning. Good swell with offshores Saturday morning.
Good swell building tomorrow afternoon, peaking Friday but with onshores. Bigger swell for Monday but with onshores again..
Poor junky and solid increase in S/SE windswell tomorrow, easing Friday with onshores. Good new SW swell with light morning offshores Saturday.
Onshore and small tomorrow, still poor Friday and the good Saturday morning with a new SW swell and N/NE winds.
Large N/NW swell tomorrow followed by bigger NW groundswell pulses Wednesday and Thursday, easing into the start of the weekend. Very strong large new NW groundswell filling in Saturday and peaking into the evening.
This developing trough looks like it will finally break the recent pattern of persistent northerly winds across the East Coast.
