Fun SW swell but with moderate onshores tomorrow, with a better pulse Friday morning with early W/NW winds on the Surf Coast. A further pulse of SW swell Saturday with light to moderate onshores, easing Sunday and Monday with favourable winds for the Mornington Peninsula.
Easing W/NW groundswell with strong trades, new XL swell building later Sunday, holding Monday but with poor winds.
Either way, we’ve got at least another week and half of great waves across the coast. So no whinging, y’hear?

We saw the effects of a weak northeasterly windswell over the weekend, with a small swell building to the 1-1.5ft range on Sunday, which faded fairly quickly into today with just 1ft leftover.
Most locations were clean early, before localised seabreezes became established each afternoon, taking the sheen off the quality.
Easing swell with fresh E/NE winds tomorrow morning, smaller Wednesday as a change moves through. New swell for Thursday and Friday with average winds, cleaner and easing Saturday.
No shortage of swell this week, with solid groundswell filling in from the east/northeast and south. The early morning sessions will offer the best options, although Thursday is looking particulalry fun.
