Plenty of swell to come over the coming period, but with average winds. Small windows are there for cleaner conditions though.
Fun clean waves tomorrow, larger and pumping Sunday, easing and best in protected spots Monday. Onshore Tuesday and then clean again into the end of the week but inconsistent.
In between swells tomorrow with favourable winds for the Surf Coast, strong new S/SW swell Sunday with offshores, easing into early next week.
Easing SE winds and a new inconsistent S/SW groundswell for the weekend, easing slowly into next week. Large long-period S/SW groundswell for Thursday next week.
Easing surf into tomorrow, with an inconsistent S/SW groundswell building Saturday afternoon, persisting Sunday and Monday but less consistent. Larger SW groundswell due Thursday and Friday.
South facing beaches in Sydney saw plenty of 3-4ft sets in the last hour or so before dark this evening, so this is a reasonable guide as to what we can expect across south facing beaches in Northern NSW on Thursday as this southerly swell continues its way up the East Coast.
Building S'ly swell later tomorrow, peaking Friday with various pulses under offshores. Stronger pulse Sunday, and easing slowly Monday.
Mix of building swells tomorrow with average winds, easing Friday with offshores. Strong swell building Saturday with workable winds, peaking early Sunday with all day offshores.
The current swell event filling in across the Sydney coast will likely peak under the cover of darkness (d’oh!) and then trend downwards through Thursday.
