Fun waves at exposed breaks each morning out of the wind over the coming days, slow next week, but hopefully better next weekend.
It’s really just a case of watch and see what happens with this east swell.
The models have slightly weakened the front exiting eastern Bass Strait (for tonight), which has both eased the projected size for the flukey south swell I was expected later Thursday, and also narrowed the peak of the event into a short timeframe - most of which will occur overnight Thursday.
Small waves over the coming days, peakiest Friday morning with a weaker S/SW swell. Possibly a bit more energy early next week.
New mid-period SW swell tomorrow morning but with onshores in the South West, cleaner to the north. Better S/SW groundswell for Saturday morning but again winds look dicey around Margs.
New SW groundswell with offshore winds tomorrow down South, small and windy Friday with an afternoon increase in semi-stormy swell on the Mid Coast. Better waves on the weekend with a strong new swell Sunday, best in protected spots.
New inconsistent but fun SW groundswell tomorrow with offshore winds, smaller into Friday and tiny Saturday. Good new swell Sunday as good winds persist, with a change in conditions early next week.
Easing S/SW groundswell tomorrow ahead of a new long-period but inconsistent swell Thursday afternoon, peaking Friday morning. Reinforcing S/SW swells for the weekend and early next week.
