In short, it's looking to be a small, windy week across the South Arm.
We've got a whole week of windy westerlies on the cards as a strong conveyor belt of fronts cross the state.
The models have now cooled on the prospects of a stalled LWT below the continent next week, instead swinging towards a mobile frontal passage through the Southern Ocean.
The swell charts look active for the weekend but I fear the dominant westerly swell direction will have an ongoing negative impact across the South Arm.

We've got varying winds and swells over the coming period thanks to a significant, deepening low across us on Friday.
A small W/SW swell will peak with sea breezes tomorrow, with a stormy S'ly swell for the weekend.
Easing surf tomorrow ahead of a small, reinforcing SW pulse, then followed by flukey west swell next week.
An onshore change tomorrow afternoon will bring with it some new swell, peaking Friday but still onshore. The weekend will be smaller but cleaner.
