The filmmaker describes this short clip as "a few sessions around home with Clay", so I guess we can assume Clay is once again calling Maui home and not the north-west of WA. If true, it's a shame as the clips Tom Jennings and John Barton made with Clay were a treat.

So what about this clip? Yeah...the surfing is good, few acrobatics, improbable recoveries, but there's none of that preternatural tube sense that caused even Kelly Slater to swoon when he saw it.

Here's hoping we all get to see it again sometime soon.
