In 2010 the inaugural Peninsula Surfriders Club Single Fin Challenge will be making waves for kids with cancer. The 1970s themed event will see both members and guests compete on traditional single-fin boards in the name of charity.

Challenge - supporting kids with cancer - will reap the benefits of the fundraising initiative with entry fees and a special web-based campaign organised by the club. Big prizes will be awarded to the highest fundraisers with a surfboard, wetsuit, clothing and heaps more donated by surf industry supporters.

Members and the general public are invited to become a part of such a great event by visiting:  www.everydayhero.com.au/event/pscsinglefinchallenge and either setting up a page to go in the running for the prizes, or to donate to the charity via each competitors individual fundraising pages.

The event will kick off at 9am, at Gunnamatta with registration from 8am - all are welcome.
