The wave of the day does it for me big time. Nice work Steen Barnes , Shaun Anderson and Swellnet.
In one photo you've encompassed everything nice about surfing. If I was a wanker I'd say that it was perfect except for the fact he is in a wetsuit. Which it is , it's perfect .....except for the fact he's in a wetsuit.
Todays WOTD... now that's my idea of perfection!
I like this. Looks like a fun wave and corduroy in the background really makes it inviting.
I am the bone
Dare i ask the locale?
Today's is so good. Stacked lines, beautiful spot and no crowd.
NZ was my guess.
Looking a whole heap better than the Hoax Coast looks today. Time for a trip.
So Stu you and the rest of the mob at Swellnet have cleverly placed yourselves to get the low down on the sweetest surf spots...............my deep state conspiracy theory is you bury all the good one's never to be shown so you can secretly surf uncrowded waves.
Looks nice and idyllic , but bet it's a deceptive pic that looks like you can surf it all the way through, but possibly only really take off from where the guy is and then what does it do going towards those rocks?
Nah, ID, it's a reasonably long wave, and very good quality.
The old jetty/groyne looks like it'll trip you up, but it's quite far down the line.
That whole area is littered with good waves.
Yeah okay, hey you should have just said...yeah its a hoax :P
Looks like a nice spot.
Locals keep it under control :-)
Oh good lord.
Couple of easy duck dives and you're out there
Yikes. Today's photo is tugging at the heart strings.
Jed gets the front page again - currently living with this guy's uncle.
Not particularly a secret spot. Total class but very rare to get it without a significant crowd. Do a bit of hunting and you'll find it.
hunt for Uluwatu?
Todays pic is not Ulu.
Sure about that?
No im not actually..
Balangan last years Russian swell i thought but his insta says Ulu
It's Ulus. No need to hunt.
Doh! was trying to reply to the NZ pic, didn't realise it posted in sequence.
Ha! Gotcha, yeah that NZ photo is a cracker too
Yea that NZ photo was a dream.
Todays Ulu shot is timeless. Not a soul in sight.
How big is it in this pic? 10ft, 15?
It looks like a huge swell period.
Is that an asbestos roof fraying?
You taking over Udo's OH&S job?
Stu you can never have too many inspectors......"wise old jungle saying"
Today's looks like an oil painting. Stunning!
Peter Jovic and another beauty.
Watashi wa metabo oyagi desu.
x 3 for Peter Jovic. He's been on fire lately. Impressive stuff.
Ditto to all the above. Peter's photos have taken a huge leap.
Was in Margaret River a few weeks back and some bombs like that were being ridden.
PJ has a great frame there pushed it to the edge but didn't over cook the art, cracking shot.
It looks like a pic from Portals-era Tracey Moffatt.
I'm fast becoming an unabashed Peter Jovic fanboy. Another cracker today- what a keg and what a shot! Oct. 20th.
That’s probably the reason I was so uninspired by the Chlorinated Bristol ripple generator .....I’d watched it after staring at that WOTD shot for a few minutes.
Akin to going from a mindlessly hectic sex session with Scarlett Johansenn to a dry five knuckle shuffle over a Big W catalogue.
Beat me to it Zen. He’s killing it
knew you'd like that one Goof.
As above, unreal.
Only just got to SN now, have to say it but Peter Jovic is killing it.
October 28th- today, beautiful shot. Truly beautiful.
agree zen. has to be one of the best ever. i know that’s a huge call
Looks eerily eerily similar to a photo I have of me at P-Pass 10 odd years ago. Although I don't know how to put photos on this forum thing.
Try this Mishad.. Uploading photos
Very nice today. I like the pulled back angle. If only that stretch of coast got like that more often.
Yup, it is nearly always rubbish. Go west (or to Tulla), I hear Winki is the place to be.
its not even a wave? like that's a close out any money
West side never tubes tho. You'll never experience the ultimate if you go the west side.
Guessing it's just like Woolis (Cape Woolamai) when solid on outside bank, can get the odd good photo that makes it look good, but in reality you can't surf it unless have a ski, as too shifty and mostly closeouts plus too much water moving around could never stay in right area even if any kind of outside bank peeling.
