Features of the Forecast (tl;dr)
We've got a window of decent conditions for all locations to kick off the weekend with a large, easing swell.
Looks like we’ve got an upgrade in store for Thursday’s size.
There should be more windows for the Mid Coast this period with plenty of swell continuing out of the west.
There's no issue with swell this period but winds will be a little less reliable and variable at times.
Large surf is on the way with another round due next week.
We’ve got a mobile pattern this week with high pressure over NSW slipping out into the Tasman, rebuilding the tradewind fetch in the Coral Sea and maintaining really fun surf across CQ.
There are varying swell pulses this period with generally favourable winds.
We’ll see quite a few wind change this week as a result and an upgrade in S-S/SE swell energy as the trough and front develop a handy fetch in the Tasman
There's a ton of swell due this period and winds are tricky but there should be workable winds across all locations.
