Synoptic charts this week look typical of a seasonal transition with mobile high pressure up at sub-tropical latitudes and a strong front poised to sweep into the Tasman with a robust low forming on the front line before rapidly shifting eastwards. Behind that typical seasonal pattern lurks signs of La Niña with a persistent trough line in the Coral Sea and a very strong high expected to track through the Southern Bight later this week.

We've got a windy couple of days with tons of swell, cleaning up down South from later week and great into the weekend.
There's a mix of swells inbound this week with lots of consistency though variable winds between cold fronts. There are some great days to work with and really fun surf into the weekend.
No major changes to the weekend outlook.
Things just got super complex for next week, dammit.
The incoming E/NE groundswell has come in nicely across NSW though a touch delayed. The weekend should be really fun.
A poor start to the weekend, small but fun Sunday with better swells next week.
A tricky weekend and less than ideal in the South West, better next week.
