Recap

Small, clean, fun waves dropping back to 1-2ft yesterday, tiny today and ideal for beginners in selected spots.

This week and weekend (Nov 12 - 15)

Down, down down.

That's the trend from the start of the week and it'll continue through tomorrow with the swell due to bottom out and become flat Friday.

Winds tomorrow will still be fresh from the NE, shifting stronger N'ly through the day and then N/NW late with N/NW winds Friday ahead of S/SE sea breezes.

The weekend's possible small S/SE swell now looks a no go with the fetch of S/SE winds weakening west of us and out of our swell window as a slow moving, weakening mid-latitude low drifts south-east towards us.

A weak fetch of W/SW winds just below us on Saturday may generate a tiny 1ft of swell Sunday but don't count on it.

Longer term the outlook remains slow with nothing significant on the cards owing to the storm track being focussed up into WA, north of our distant western swell window.

A groundswell showing Monday will be produced by a strong, intense low today, but the positioning is poor for the South Arm.

Maybe check the North-east coast Forecaster Notes for more surfing options and also check back Friday for any change to the outlook.
