There's no real quality swell with size or power due this period. There'll be decent conditions next week and a few small pulses to try and pick the eyes out of.

The swell potential from a strengthening mid-latitude low currently under WA is much better, with fun waves due through the period before slowing down.

The image below shows storm force winds around the low, and also highlights the main headache I have at the moment - working out how much of this fetch is shadowed behind Tasmania, and how much sits just inside the western periphery of our acute south swell window. More in the Forecaster Notes. 

Our current strong, large and building swell will peak overnight and ease over the coming days but there's plenty more activity on the way for next week.
