We’ve got a multitude of swell sources for the next few days but they’re all originating from weather systems on the peripheries of our swell windows.

Average waves until the weekend when a new swell should be met with offshore winds on the swell magnets.
Solid easing swell with periods of cleaner though not perfect conditions across the South Coast, tiny on the Mid. Average weekend with smaller swells and dicey winds, new swell for early next week.
Plenty of swell to end off the week, though winds are only favourable for one day. Better options on the beaches for the weekend though not perfect.
Poor winds and swells for the North Shore for the next fortnight, better across Micronesia and PNG but winds are a slight issue.
Some of the forecast charts are very impressive for the weekend, with a broadening ridge through the Tasman Sea combining with a widespread trough of low pressure to the north to create a large, strong SE fetch aimed into the Coral Sea.
Swells from all directions but somewhat dicey and not reliable. There should be some fun surf days in the mix.
A mix of different swell sources out of the west this week, with the energy arriving more out of the south for the weekend.
I’m really not very confident in the surf outlook for the next few days. More in the Forecaster Notes.
Good S/SW groundswell with improving winds, worth making the most of. Average until early next week again.
