We’ve got a classic summer pattern ahead for the weekend, with a stationary high in the Tasman Sea and a mix of swells from the E/NE and NE.
Fairly active period of swells with mornings of clean and fun conditions. Minimal energy getting into Perth besides the weekend.
Fun pulses of W/SW swell for the period and surfable on the Mid every day, with a few standout days in the mix. Generally average down South apart from a couple of windows.
New small swell for the weekend, but only a small window of clean conditions, onshore until mid-next week. A better swell with favourable winds to follow.
Plenty of surf out of the N/NE from Friday through Sunday with workable winds.
Nothing of note until the start of next week when a fun small swell is expected.
Back to back swells, the strongest and largest for the weekend but winds are going to be generally dicey.
We’re looking at a blocking synoptic pattern across the Tasman region this weekend, maintaining fresh to strong trade winds that’ll keep E’ly swells at elevated heights in SE Qld both days.
Fading surf tomorrow, best across the South Coast magnets, with SE-S/SE winds and fun W/SW swells for the Mid Coast thereafter.
