Nothing of significance until next week with some fun swells and good winds.
A couple of fun swell pulses with favourable winds for exposed breaks, deteriorating from the middle of next week.
No quality surfing options until next week when some better groundswell fills in with more favourable winds.
A series of troughs will create flukey, but generally average waves to finish the week. This is a shame as we have some fun swell on the way.
Of more interest are two long range swells that will provide more size and strength to the surf zone. They are both starting to show across the coast and should appear more prominently across the region ahead of peak in size on Friday. More in the Forecaster Notes.
No decent swell and onshore winds over the coming days, much better next week with stronger swell energy and favourable winds.
Building XL groundswell tomorrow with average N/NE tending NE winds, easing and cleaning up late week. Good run of fun sized NW swell next week.
The strengthening trough off the Fraser Coast reached maturity today and will slowly weaken from this evening onwards. It’ll still linger in some way shape or form through Wednesday afternoon, which means rideable surf from this neck of the woods until Thursday or early Friday at least, albeit with a slow and steady downwards trend in the size department.
Fading NE swell through tomorrow with a new S/SE swell, cleaner Wednesday morning while easing.
