Recap

A secondary pulse of S'ly groundswell expected yesterday morning wasn't really reported on the coast, with tiny waves into today.

Today’s Forecaster Notes are brought to you by Rip Curl

This week and weekend (May 23 – 26)

There's nothing significant due over the coming period, with only a possible distant hint of SE groundswell later today and tomorrow morning to 1ft to maybe 2ft, but besides that we cast our eyes into the future towards later next week.

As touched on last update, a strengthening node of the Long Wave Trough is forecast to develop across the south-east of the country projecting a slow moving and significant polar frontal progression up and into the west coast of the state.

All this activity will be out of our swell window until the node shifts further east, opening our coast to the frontal systems. This looks to occur later next week with some large S'ly swell possible for the region, but we'll confirm this in Friday's update. In the meantime check the South Arm Forecaster Notes.
