Easter weekend in Durban looked the goods. Chocolate brown water unravelled its way past the piers as a small group of surfers speed checked their way north.
Great waves, good angles, lots of slo-mo.
Some v nice easter chocolate goodies ( doppelganging the unlimited ‘free flowing’ video remnants of the random surf clips thread )
The yardfish and perfect safi vid are on par too bru…
Church of the open sky ocean devotion ;)
Nice Waves Whats the water temp - Some guys in Steamers, some in Boardies ?
Low to mid 20s - prob more mid. You'd be gasping in a steamer.
And incredible waves.
An AI Plini soundtrack? The real sounds from Oz ...
Wow that is good tunes
Quality sand bar barrels there
That water looks bloody pristine to me after what we've experienced here lately.
Thats what I was thinking too LD.
Great Waves ...Brandom Ribbink on the Yellow Soft top Nice Barrel .
Having surfed that stretch, it’s incredible a sand bottom wave holds up like that, long straight beach interspersed by various piers.
Not a ski in sight, take note Kirra surfers.
Such small numbers in the water, surfing definitely for the ‘haves’ not ‘have nots’ over there
Lekker
wonder what cave rock looked like that day?
Probably nuts, with uncle Rudy P out there on a big board.
Can we arrange to install some of those piers on the east coast here?!
