Watch: Tassie Unicorns

Some manic editing in this clip, though I guess you'd say it suits the wave. It's shallow, raw, and almost as rare as a horse with a spiralling horn.

Clip by Kyron Rathbone.

Maaannnniiiic!
I am sure there will be some "secret spot" purists who decry the give away drone flyovers so the Google earth pundits start swarming like evil flies....but seriously - between the rareness of conditions, the cold, the huge freaking sharks. the exposed rock and that end section that shuts like steel jaws.....well - they can HAVE it! Insane....
I finished and realised I had been holding my breath for the last 30 seconds!

Tassie unicorns: A critique by Wallpaper.

What's the go with this recent wankery of video photographers ending their clips with 'a film by such and such'? It's not a film, it's just an edit of a few video clips of pretty much the same thing over and over and over.

After swimming in waters infested with great whites, dodging death slabs.....I reckon thats fair game! They can claim whatever they want!

I'm assuming with such a scathing critique you must be a filmmaker yourself wallpaper?

Oh it happened sometime during COVID, all the filmmakers want to put their name at the end of things they put effort into making. Strange wankery to say the least, never used to happen before

Holy Moly that was amazing....didn't look that big until what at first seemed like tiny humans started threading the barrels. Awesome

Had heard of this unicorn, now know the one horned horse is true. Still wont get me out there.
Best fish and chips ever.

Needed a pinch more south in the swell. There would've been a hundred spots or more firing on that coast with that swell. Everything from petite lefts and rights wrapping into sheltered bays, to open ocean grunt.

Ain't nothing petite on that coast on a swell like that besides the unicorn frequented by absolute lunatics.

Rubbish. There's sheltered nooks and crannies. You realise what coast it is right?. And that coast stretches from Bass straight to an island below the capital
