Blowin and Blob , regarding the Mueller investigation , I am not sure if you understand how investigators work , which is forensically looking at every phone call , every text , every email , every bank accounts movements...which takes quite a deal of time to do depending how far back they have to go .They then look at all the digital evidence and ask questions about the material they have compiled and depending on the answers to the questions , proceed with criminal charges or are satisfied with the answers and let the said person go!

Interestingly , Trumps lawyer of 12 years has just pleaded guilty , now of course the ever Faithful Don ....https://www.theage.com.au/world/north-america/trump-s-ex-lawyer-cohen-pl... there's more smoke .....we will let Mueller finish his forensic investigation , as there is way too much we still do not know, but will soon.....

In a criminal case the burden of proof is beyond a reasonable doubt. So when he is charged Trump is entitled to that. In civil cases such as libel the burden of proof is reduced to the balance of probabilities. The public sets its own standard. Many politicians, media personalities etc who have been found not guilty have still lost their careers because the public didn't believe them. Nothing personal about it Blowin, it's just the way the world works. Anyone who denies that a substantial segment of the US population, based on existing evidence, believe Trump to be guilty of one or more criminal offences, clearly does not pay attention to the issue. Oh and, ask any criminal lawyer, not guilty does not mean innocent.

Anyhoo, judging by the multitude of feverish, frothing, unsubstantiated threads you've put up over the past year or so, you aint gonna change your mind soon.

FWIW, I think Trump is a buffoon, a stooge, popped out of a similar mould to Tony Abbott.

Ideally, Trump would be the "President we had to have" and we'd learn a lot about media, politics etc but you seem so reactive and knee-jerky.

You're like a ping pong ball, so easily hit away from a given direction with little time for resistance or consideration. It still seems that if a woman or a "person of colour" was dangled in front of you at election time you'd automatically assume they were righteous, regardless of any history or evidence.

Classic regressive left.

I am happy to substantiate any facts I have posted and have supported my opinions with logical arguments. If you don't like them, don't read them. Seems easy to me. As for being regressive left, well maybe in the sense that I support a stronger Union movement, greater regulation of employment conditions to prevent exploitation of workers, a decent welfare system, universal health care, fair funding for education and an environmental policy that addresses the issues rather than leave them for subsequent generations. Did I leave anything out?

Blowin , really are wondering how many times you have been to the USA?

Yes Trump has the right to the presumption of innocence , but we can comment on aspects of the collusion case ...but we will see what Mueller comes up with when all the evidence has been collected , when all the interviews have finished....shouldn't be too long!

I do Judge Trump on his complete rejection of climate change science , but when I read part of the transcript from the Washington Post , where he explains what Climate is; " you look at our air and water, and its now at a record clean. But when you go look at China, and you look at parts of Asia and when you look at South America , and when you look at many places other places in the world including Russia , including may other places -the air is incredibly dirty. And when you are talking about an atmosphere, oceans are very small and it blows over and it sails over."

Not sure ol Don has a grasp on climate , but is able to reject the scientists who actually work for him , try reading ,https://www.theage.com.au/world/north-america/major-us-climate-report-sa... is simply saying we need a plan to deal with climate change now.....that's why it was inspirational to see School kids demonstrating yesterday in the streets ...which shows these educated kids get it and are worried about Governments who are climate change deniers , and do not believe science!

Sharkman- been to mainland twice , Hawaii maybe half a dozen times ....but not for a very long time.

Trump is off his head on the climate deal. He should really be shutting his lips there.

Cleanest water ever !

Of course you can say whatever’s you like about your opinion on guilt/ innocence. It’s when people start saying things like “ guilty in the court of public opinion “ and the fact that he will suffer public consequences of this kangaroo court verdict that worries me.

The recent movement to prosecute people civilly , rather than criminally , and the open acceptance and encouragement of this by people as smart as BB is very worrisome indeed.

Why not dispense with the whole idea of jurisprudence if it’s outcomes are to be ignored and mob rule bullies society into taking punitive action ?

No one is safe from this regressive social step.

And who influences the mob.....money and power.

Therefore justice has been transferred from the people to the powerful.

Fuck that.

Heaven forbid that anyone uses Trumps modus operandi of attack, lies, total BS and some.

Feel free to suggest any other US president that has de-funded, undermined and attacked the democratic institutions like Trump has.

Thats all before talking about either not filling positions within government or appointing cronies, family or complete imbecile's.

I have a small business there , and have visited there 7 times since the election...its actually getting worse over there to visit and live , as the aggression between the Republicans and Democrats is now so polarizing, people I know who have been friends for decades , do not talk to each other anymore , and you really have to be careful what you say in Public , because damn they all have guns.....still wondering if I will continue over there , as it's just not a nice place to work anymore.....

Well said I focus.

Meanwhile in Trumpland, or is it Trumpville....but thinking more along the lines of planet Trump

Trump administration approves seismic tests that could harm thousands of Atlantic dolphins and whales.

"The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, declared that it issued final “incidental take” authorizations permitting companies conducting the surveys to harm wildlife if its unintentional."

https://www.washingtonpost.com/energy-environment/2018/11/30/trump-admin...

At the same time the Trumpernator is wondering what the fuck happened today. (Like every other day I imagine)

I am thinking about boarding the latest Broomstick and flying over there myself.
You know, to help out with the hunt.
After all, it is Duck season and Donald is floating around hoping he never has to take flight.

That's the thing about the truth, it always eventually and inevitably comes to light.
Its all just a matter of time, "Individual 1.".
