Basically even CNN is now giving air time to those that believe the virus came from a lab, and not just anybody but former director of CDC (Centre for disease control and prevention) who was director at the time of the outbreak.

@indo , I’ve been waiting for this report even if it is CNN , cant discount the people being interviewed they are definitely not minnows . What I don’t understand is the claims that the virus has been around since September October , wouldn’t the world have noticed earlier seeing as how contagious it is ? It will certainly be worth watching the report . The WHO have lost all credibility in my personal opinion in their handling of this from the start and since their ruling on ivermectin, lots of things dont add up .

Why would people allow kids to be part of a vaccine trial?
Well firstly the parents that have kids in the trial would be educated on the risk, and know that the risk of any negative affect to their kid would be very low.
Two they would be people that care or are passionate about helping other people and children and understand that for the betterment of the future of others that some small degree of risk needs to be taken.
Life is all about risk, but it's evaluating what the risk is and what the benefit is, we do this everyday from driving a car to going surfing.
But yeah i get the argument and its a very valid one that the child doesn't have a choice in the matter, so yeah its a hard one from that perspective..
Imagine if nobody took any risk and we didn't have vaccines or medicine.
And we still had Polio, nothing to avoid Tetanus, Hep-A, Hep-B, Rubella and a whole range of other diseases/virus that were once quite common and life threatening.
IMHO the real heroes in this world are those that work on developing things like vaccines and medicines and those that play a part in the process(including trials) that gets them used by the the wider population.
Just not sure if the risk versus benefit is the same considering how covid effects the overall vast majority of kids . I really don’t know how anyone could volunteer a 6 month old baby , to me it’s just another money spinner for big pharma. The diseases you have pointed out indo did effect babies and children but covid does not effect them like an adult, if you have a look why it’s something to do with their overall respiratory system hasn’t fully developed like a teenager or adult .

You would expect they would be doing trials in late teen kids first if they are doing any trials in under 18 year olds and working down from there.
I don't know too much about it, but i trust the medical experts and you would expect if the vaccines continue to show good results in preventing spread of the virus it would make sense to vaccinate those under 18, to prevent transmission even if they are a low risk group in being affected by the virus.
In regard to what USA does, i don't think that should have too much affect on us, even if the vaccine is proven to show blood clots, the rates are super low much lower than in other medicine's.
If i was a person that was concerned about possible long term effects, id be more worried about the other mRNA Covid vaccines.

I was a little shocked at Alan Joyce (CEO Qantas) announcement that international travelers will be required to have a covid 19 vaccination in order to travel on Qantas flights . The government wanted to have mandatory vaccination but after the bumbling of its release ( it was painful to watch the delivery of that announcement ) they withdrew the mandatory part but it seems Qantas and other business may demand a vaccination in order to use their services. I’m not anti vaccine by any means I just don’t trust this government or a vaccine that has been rushed through. A jab followed by another jab followed by yearly jabs doesn’t sit well with me as I have never had a flu shot or the flu for more than 20 years. Plus I don’t want to give this shot to my healthy 4 year old daughter. She is up to date with all her vaccinations but this covid vaccine is new and not being around for decades like the others. Tuberculosis remains the number one as far diseases go and you don’t need proof of vaccination to travel so what is going on ?
