Fitting in with TBB's theme. Saw them live late last year, great guitar sounds for a cruisy groove out.

Secret Surf Sound Series (Part4)
Cheers Blackers...tbb will wrap up his set...(Might revisit if tbb can get deeper back in time...)
Ok...tbb is Surfing like a Hot Dog...let's flip this back to the raw Wild Ride.
Only fair to let the crew surf their own wild Party Wave to Shore
tbb saved a collection of early Proto surf Kooks to blow yer tiny minds...
Many of these Twisted Sounds scream Surf Guitar but also Psych Punk or even new wave.
This Hot Wax mix will wipe out the crew on a Sound Party Wave of the Day.
This First track is a bit of a mystery...Well mostly for the date it was recorded.
1958 El Tecolote by Calvin Cool & The Surf Knobs (Song is Light Years ahead of it's time)
Verify the Date on this Flip Single...tbb swears he read 1957 > 1958 recorded as a flip
Reckon it was just too way out to consider a full A/B investment...be lucky they scooped this!
https://rateyourmusic.com/release/single/the-kingsmen-calvin-cool/weeken...
Has impossible uber cool cred & ticks off Psych / Surf / Swamp / Punk...
WOTD Get onto this sweet ride...once ya hear this ya can relate to none in the day getting on board.
Wonder if even just one knew that us 2025 Ai Robots would fucking flip over it!
You'll swear yer surfing a time machine that hyperloops from 1958 to 1967 Freaks on Acid Beach
1963/64 Same Acid Freak Kooks release extra track Beach Bash + The Surfers Beat LP Trip out

1958 Fast Freight by Arvee Allens (Who!) Ritchie Valens hanging loose Shh!
Way Back Attack...
https://www.waybackattack.com/strangers.html
The Strangers were likely the first Surf Punks
Their first Track 'Cockroach Crawl' produced by The Storms Deadbeat Surf Emo Jody.
Was toned down as slightly less creepy Caterpillar Crawl > (Featured in Part 1)
1959 Hill Stomp was said to turn yer tranny into a Vibrator.
1959 The Scarlets ~ Stampede (Big Wave band) Take the Drop > Go For it!

@tearymassueuse...
after your musical interlude post on the USA thread, i had to go and check the KEXP youtube of Kinski.
I've lost touched since the 7 (or8) album, that i loved, but fk me, your jolting reminder got me back on track, on the double!
Appreciate it.
As that bloke used to say, "do youself a favour"

Off piste but seems pertinent.

Carlos Santana recovering from Covid
Good luck

Took my kids to see Santana when they were 10 & 14 at Acer Arena Sydney or whatever it's called now.
So good.

Interesting fact , Santana started his career playing strip clubs in Tijuana when he was 15 .

Rainy twilight carpark longneck sufrcheck and tunes combo

Nice work Shoredump.
Some things are disposable, but a longneck surfcheck is a thing of beauty.

Plenty of fab trax from the crew...
tbb just took a wrong turn and the crew just earned some ultra rare 70's Skateboard Chords.
Do not ask how this happened...got no idea & never ever heard any of these gems...
These Clips weren't even supposed to load...not officially a thing...worth a laugh though!
Pretty sure tbb broke YouTube again...gonna get busted big time!
So don't go picking on tbb for mucking this up...just get yer groove on & roll with the gang!
Like be honest...has any of the crew ever heard these skater trax...
It's like some ai parallel universe...are we getting a Trump fisty pump '70's do-over or something.
Trump : "Skateboarding...I started that craze and the YoYo...that was me too...right! Ok then!"
Sounds pretty fucked up either way...doin' me head in...
Coz these '70's Trax would've been banned under our Skater curfew in Qld Police State.
Ready for some Red Hot Taboo ~ 1970's Skater Dater Porn!

Alright, time for some discussion on what yr all listening too. My iTunes inventory is getting a little stale so I'm up for some inspiration.
Currently loving The Drones' album "Havilah".. incredible songwriting and some of the best recorded guitars and drum I've heard in a long time. I'm a little late to the party with this album but it's on high rotation at the moment and will probably stay there a while. I've seen these guys live once (Fowlers, Adelaide) and fortunately they're incredible on stage too. Can't wait to see them again.
