There were still some OK waves around yesterday, but S'ly winds limited the best surf to protected locations.
A new groundswell arrived into the afternoon and this has continued at 3-4ft this morning with offshore winds. Conditions have remained clean and glassy into this afternoon though but the swell should of dropped a notch.

Best Days: SE Qld: Thurs/Fri: small peelers on the points. Sat: small/mod but quality SE groundswell. Northern NSW: Thurs/Fri: moderate pulsey SE swell with good winds Thurs AM and most of Fri. Easter Sat/Sun: strong, quality SE groundswell (biggest in the south) with good winds.

Best Days: Thurs: plenty of swell but winds still a bit iffy (aim for the early morning). Easter Fri: plenty of swell and all day offshores. Easter Sat/Sun: strong E'ly groundswell with offshore winds. Late Easter Sat/Sun: strong S'ly groundswell with offshore winds.

Some fun peaky waves were seen down South yesterday with a good swell to 3ft at Middleton with larger 4ft sets out at Waits under light NE winds. Sea breezes weren't too strong into the afternoon creating fun waves after lunch. The Mid Coast saw tiny 1-1.5ft waves during the morning but these faded back to 1ft during the day as winds freshened from the S'th.
