The beaches will be OK tomorrow ahead of a better run of swell with favourable winds from late week.

All eyes on the Coral Sea where this tropical low is expected to deepen into a tropical cyclone that is expected to be slow moving.
A compact low is tracking SE away from Tasmania with a nice slingshot fetch in the process of entering the Tasman adjacent to the Apple Isle. A retrograding fetch in the South Pacific is currently active and expected to send some fun surf our way over the weekend.
Clean morning conditions and a good but easing S/SW swell is due on the weekend, with some fun S/SW energy for early next week.
A weak W/SW swell should provide small waves across metro locations early next week with workable winds. Otherwise the outlook is so/so.

This morning is well worth making the most of, as is tomorrow morning before the outlook goes off the boil.
We've got a poor outlook ahead with smaller, weak swells and dicey winds. Hit up this morning and tomorrow on the beaches.
Tricky and average outlook across all locations.
